The rubber that holds the mirrors in place has long since rotted. I scraped out the remains and cleaned up the housing. Using black silicone gasket maker, I cemented the mirror glass back into the housings. I also attached this cute basket which shipped from overseas. The corners rubbed on the legshield, so I trimmed them off and touched it up with a bit of silver paint.
